Florida Supreme Court Certified Mediator
Mediator #44711 R

"After two decades representing both sides of the courtroom, I understand what drives settlement. My goal is to help you find practical paths forward—not to impose solutions, but to facilitate them."
Started at one of Florida's largest firms, litigating insurance defense matters including high-exposure and traumatic injury cases.
Founded a small firm representing injured individuals, learning to treat each case and client with a personal touch.
Spent six years at America's largest personal injury firm, trying cases to verdict and mediating hundreds of disputes.
Now channels two decades of litigation experience into helping parties identify business-oriented solutions.
I bring an uncommon dual perspective to mediation. I began my career at one of Florida’s largest firms, where I litigated insurance defense matters ranging from automobile accidents to premises liability claims, including high-exposure and traumatic injury cases. I then shifted to representing plaintiffs, opening a small firm where I learned to treat each case—and each client—with a personal touch. For the past six years, I’ve worked at America’s largest personal injury firm.
This experience on both sides of the aisle—representing insurance companies and injured parties alike—gives me unique insight into the motivations, concerns, and strategic considerations that drive settlement negotiations.
Throughout my career, I’ve tried numerous cases to verdict and mediated hundreds more. I know what’s at stake for both sides because I’ve literally sat in both chairs. A third-generation Tampa native and former minor league baseball player, I bring the same discipline and competitive drive from my athletic background to my mediation practice, working tirelessly to help parties achieve resolution.
When you hire me as your mediator, you get someone who understands the business realities of litigation from every angle. I know what defense counsel faces when evaluating risk and exposure. I know what plaintiff attorneys need to advise their clients properly. And I know how to help both sides move past posturing toward practical resolution.
I don’t impose solutions. I facilitate them by understanding what each party truly needs and helping everyone see paths forward they might have missed. My job is to create an environment where honest negotiation can happen—and where cases that should settle, do settle.
